According to law enforcement and family sources, Sophia was pronounced dead Wednesday morning in Malibu. Sophia was riding the ATV on the roadway where Caitlyn lives when she hit the bumper of a moving vehicle — The ATV was pushed over the shoulder by that impact, which sent Sophia falling 350 feet down into a gully.
Our sources say that first responders who came at Sophia were pronounced dead on the spot. Sophia struck two individuals in the car, who were not wounded. It is unknown if Caitlyn witnessed the fatal accident, and her whereabouts at the time are in doubt. We are aware no one else was injured on the ATV.
